RPSI's No. 85 'Merlin' & 'WT' class No. 4 on the Mince Pie Special - Sunday 30th December 2018

The last and final tour of 2018!, here we see the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's annual Mince Pie Special running from Whitehead - Dublin Connolly & return. In charge or the first leg to Dublin was 85 'Merlin' with the usual RPSI Mk2 coaches, we see 85 passing Harmonstown as it continues South to Connolly. Next we head to Connolly where we see plenty of action around Connolly shed, we see 85 shunting the Mark 2 coaches into platform 3 having run round, once finished 85 headed to the shed for storage until the new year, what was very interesting was we caught a glimpse of former Irish Rail 141 class locomotive No. B141, sadly it didn't do much apart from peeping out of the shed, next we see number 4 coupling onto the train before preparing to depart. Next we head to Howth Junction where we see the last and final RPSI movement of 2018, number 4 passes with the return journey back to Whitehead. I'd like to take this moment to with everyone a very safe and Happy New Year ;) Please feel free to comment, like & subscribe
