It tastes like home here. Just like Mom's cooking: You'll hear these phrases from almost every customer. And that's why they keep coming back to Jörg Seifert's snack bar. Rouladen, meatballs, meatloaf: The trained farrier loves German cuisine and chatting with his customers. Despite this, the 55-year-old's meatball stand is always packed at lunchtime. What's special here: Jörg also caters to special requests. Like his regular customer Albert, for whom he regularly grills a trout. However, Jörg is also struggling with rising inflation. People seem to have less and less money in their pockets, he says, and his groceries are becoming increasingly expensive to buy. Jörg should really raise his prices. But he's worried that he'll lose customers. "The North Report" follows Jörg Seifert at his favorite spot, which is also his workplace, and shows how he manages to conjure up a truly special culinary experience for his customers during these unusual times.
