Judges: PrincesStarlight Kiandra TheNight130 Xvampiireheart Video Credits: RP Title by FableSecrets 0:18-0:25, 0:30-0:46,0:49-1:01 and book masks by TheNight130 ★CONTEXT★ The story takes place in the real world (iron giant alike period) where magic remains a myth and something out of a children's book.However there's a hidden world,parallel to the real one that contains magical and fantastic beings.Home to human wizards and two special academies that keep magic alive by teaching future generations. Every 3 years, in December of the year they turn 18,twelve teenagers with hidden magical abilities are chosen to go to one of the academies. Some of them know that they probably have magic because magic runs in their family, others don´t know they have it or even dream about it´s existence.Their powers are not awake untill they receive the academies “calling” ritual but that doesn´t mean that they don´t have knowledge about spells for example, they can still read books and their families can help them and encourage them to learn so when they arrive to the academy they could already know some spells. ★READ THIS DOC FOR MORE INFO AND HELPFUL LINKS ★ https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q... ★CLAIMED/TAKEN CHARACTERS★( Claim the academy along with your character,please take in consideration the numbers for "evil" and "good" in the claimed character´s doc so we can balance thisXD) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1r... ★AUDITION★ The contestants have time to do anything they want or normally do during this day, some will be preparing for the calling and even some family members join them in their home to celebrate this special and most anticipated occasion, while others are in their day to day life far from knowing what will happen to them when the time comes.Some with a strong family legacy can feel pressured and even be afraid since they don´t know if it will even happen, maybe for some reason they don´t have magic, what if they don´t? What will their family reaction be? All the contestants have a moment in the day when they are alone and encounter an old lady appearing from nowhere catching some off guard and scaring them. They ask if she wants any help since she is looking at them very steadily "Tutatur malis praeteritis"she says while touching gently in their arm. Confused, the contestants turn away to look for anyone that could help thinking that this old lady would be somewhat crazy and lost. They didn´t saw anyone and they turn back to her again, she wasn´t there anymore, simply vanished in seconds. The night settles and a full moon rises, it was time for the academies or better, the magic, to choose their students. The contestants start to hear voices in their head like a melody, the words are in an old language so almost impossible to understand and follow, glitches in the real world start to appear showing different places they never saw. After the voices and glitches it´s time for the final test, it only starts when they are alone so for it to work it´s vital that they leave their family or friends and go to another room/ place. A bright light appears in front of them making it difficult to look at, when they open their eyes again they see two books floating, each book belong to one of the academies, the purple represents the evil and the brown represents the good. Depending on their nature, one of the books will call for them and they immediatly will feel drawn to one forming a powerful connection,their eyes glow and put them into a transe towards one of the books.When they finally touch one of them a portal opens and they are pulled in. The portal spits them,dizy they look around, not feeling sure about what happened.They are in an office of one of the academy directors: Merlin-"Welcome to the good academy !" or Narissa-"Welcome to the evil academy!" Depending where they stand with magic their reaction/ response will reflect that. Some will be shocked and confused "Wizard? Who are you? Where am I?" While others would be excited to start this new adventure. ★REQUIREMENTS★ ●You must show your character background: Who are they? ●You must show if they know about magic:If yes how?Do they have a family legacy? ●You must show the old lady encounter ●You must show the “calling” and the book test. ●You must show the director of your respective academy ★DEADLINE:★ you will get 2 weeks from the day you claimed your character you can ask for two additional weeks if you need them (one at a time) if we don’t hear back from you on the day your claim expires, your character will be up for grabs again. -Please leave a link to your audition in the comments.
