ALKANY - wzory, nazwy, szereg homologiczny. #91 poziom podstawowy

Alkanes are hydrocarbons, or compounds of carbon and hydrogen. The carbon atom is always tetravalent, and the bonds between carbon atoms are single. They are representatives of organic chemistry. They form a homologous series, meaning a series with a general formula, each subsequent representative differing from the previous one by the same CH2 group. I'll show you how to memorize the names and formulas of alkanes in a simple, associative way. Methane, ethane, propane, butane... your... orangutan... and other associations follow. You don't need to learn the general formula either; you just need to remember that there are twice as many hydrogen atoms as carbon atoms plus two. If you memorize the names in order from 1 to 10 or 20, you can derive the molecular formula from the general formula, followed by the structural formula, and then the semistructural or shortened semistructural formula. In the next video, #92, I'll cover alkane combustion reactions, showing how alkanes burn depending on the amount of available oxygen used for combustion. In video #93, I discuss the names of branched-chain alkanes.    • Nazwy rozgałęzionych ALKANÓW z podstawnika...   Video description: 0:00 What are alkanes? 0:29 General formula of alkanes 0:42 Formulas and names of alkanes 1 to 10 7:26 Are the following alkanes different from each other? 8:50 Formulas and names of alkanes 11 to 20 11:42 How to remember these names and formulas?
