We journey deep into the forest with nomadic women to harvest wild Doum Palm fruits and prepare a traditional meal — witness the entire ancient process from start to finish. 🌿 The Harvest — Journeying into the wilderness to gather wild fruits straight from nature. 🪨 The Processing — Using traditional stones to grind and break open the rock-hard outer shells. 💧 The Extraction — Massaging the fruits in water to draw out their sweet, natural juice. 🍲 The Cooking — Using that sugary juice as the base to cook corn meal(Nang'aria), an authentic traditional Turkana meal.
