ADA Requirements and Compliance within the Public Right-of-Way

This webinar in our ADA series takes an in-depth look at the requirements for pedestrian facilities within the public right-of-way. Learn about the scoping and technical requirements as contained within existing guidelines. With a primary focus on curb ramps and pedestrian access routes (sidewalks), this webinar touched on other facilities as well, such as pedestrian signals and on-street parking. The presentation covers examples of both compliant and non-compliant situations and wraps up with potential options for alterations where existing constraints exist and discuss some of the most common errors made during design and construction.
