"Fly Talk" is a talk variety show with a fly-fishing theme. We hope you enjoy it like a radio program while tying or commuting to work or school (see the description for the video table of contents). For our sixth episode, we feature Masaru Hamano, a Kanagawa Prefecture resident and tournament caster. Hamano has competed in fly-casting competitions both in Japan and abroad for over 20 years, achieving numerous outstanding results. He is well-known in the fly-casting world. In the video, Hamano discusses his own passion for fly fishing and fly casting. If possible, we recommend watching on a large TV or PC screen. This will allow you to more accurately see Hamano's powerful loop and the straight, beautiful trajectory of his upper leg. In addition, a casting school co-instructed by Tomonori Azuma and Hamano will be held on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, 2026.
