Recyclable Marine Fuel Tank Development | Navico Group & Queen’s University Belfast

This case study video from ‪@investni‬ highlights the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Whale Pumps (Navico Group) and Queen’s University Belfast, focused on developing a recyclable marine fuel tank. The project draws on expertise and robotic rotational moulding capabilities at Queen’s and the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) to support product development in practice. This KTP was supported with funding from Innovate UK and Invest Northern Ireland. KTPs are supported by Invest Northern Ireland, helping businesses access academic expertise, facilities, and talent to progress innovation and product development.
