We ended up on Koh Rong Sanloem completely by accident. 🙂 We hadn't planned on this island, but rather its larger sister, Koh Rong. We went there because they were closing it and it wouldn't be possible to sail to it for a long time. Koh Rong is truly magical. It's hard to describe, especially after Thailand, where we visited beautiful, paradise-like islands. Some say Koh Rong could easily rival the Thai islands, and there's something to that. Koh Rong is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and chilled-out atmosphere. It's less developed than some Thai islands, which may appeal to those looking for a more secluded and unspoiled location.
