She has a hard time hearing since creation, so the healer of her group made her string-like hearing aids that collect vibrations and send them in her ears so she hears better. Her mate is suffering of a sickness which is causing him to puke out black stuff from all openings in his body. One night she is walking through the outside world when she hears a noise. She investigates to find a demon. (I do not want this demons identity filled het, which is why he has no name and face black. He does not really look like that in Lëila Indøs lore.) he makes a deal with her thst if she “helps” him she will no longer need those hearing aids and her mate would be safe. She tries to decline, but is forced into a deal. Over the course of a few weeks, her body durns blsck while her mate suffers. Eventually she turns into a demon-like creature.
