Spur Z-Brotzeitbrett-Mini-Module 11x22 cm 1:220 aus Wien für Stammtisch - ZFI-Modellbahn-Ausstellung

If you don't have enough space for a Z-gauge model railway layout on a scale of 1: 220, you don't need to despair. Perhaps mini-modules in the 11 x 22 cm format would be a solution to this problem. On September 25, 2021, at the exhibition of the Munich group of the association “Z-Freunde International” (Z-gauge friends international), I talked to members of the “Wiener Z-Stammtisch” on this topic (Vienesse Z-gauge regulars table). Erich Käferböck and Dieter Prohaska explained the modular concept of their regulars table group, which has been active for many years, and showed me some modules. The "regular table boards", which can be lined up endlessly, are 22 x 11 cm in size and 10 mm in thickness. Each module rests on 8 mm high skirting boards and has a 220 mm long Z Rokuhan track with bedding 8 mm from the edge, which, thanks to its plastic clips in the track bed, can be easily put together and removed again. For the operation with long locomotives and trains, the Viennese Z-Stammtisch uses semicircular turning modules in the format 22 x 42 cm. The Z-Freunde International exhibition took place in the former luggage hall of the Munich-Giesing train station, which is now an integral part of the Giesinger Bahnhof cultural center. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy in the exhibition room during the interview - sorry for the background noise and other voices that can often be heard in the background - but this video also has subtitles in German and English.
