Although not recognized as its own sovereign country by the UN, Kurdistan is a cultural and geographical region in the Middle East primarily inhabited by currents. However, there are many other ethnic minorities as well. #kurdistan #iraq #travelvlog #middleeast I am specifically visiting the part of Kurdistan that is in the north of modern-day Iraq… But Kurdish people live all over Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Kurdistan has a degree of political autonomy within the Iraq borders, but Kurdistan as a whole is not an independent country.
