The next instalment of Spongebob Movies is here, huzzah! And it's another side character movie too. After the lowest depths of Sandy Cheeks (the Spongebob Movie) the bar for standards practically couldn't be lower. But this IS modern Paramount here. With a sudden drop onto Netflix and over 6 months since the last movie, is this yet another movie perfectly in-line with the slow decline of the quality of Spongebob movies? Or does this film magically break away from the curse and give us a character study so well realised and in-depth that it managed to rekindle the tone and successes of the first Spongebob Movie that spouted this franchise line in the first place...?
