On Wednesday, the Chairman of Danko/Wasagu Local Government Areas of Kebbi State made the full list of the 24 schoolgirls abducted by terrorists available. The list, organized by class categories, includes students from Junior and Senior Secondary Schools. Meanwhile, Amina Hassan, the wife of the vice-principal killed during Monday's attack at the secondary school in Kebbi recounted the night her husband was murdered, saying the terrorists dragged her outside and attempted to abduct her daughter. Afrobeats superstar Davido expressed sympathy for the families of the twenty-four schoolgirls kidnapped in Kebbi State, calling on Nigerians to stand together in unity. Meanwhile activist, Martins Oshe, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, staged a protest in Abuja demanding immediate government action to rescue the schoolgirls and address the escalating wave of killings across Nigeria. Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Kebbi state on behalf of President Tinubu, assuring the families of the abducted schoolgirls that the President is deeply troubled by the tragedy, will deploy all instruments of state to rescue the girls and bring their abductors to justice. In the United States, Congressman Riley Moore met with a Nigerian government delegation led by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu in Washington D.C. to discuss the ongoing persecution of Christians and terrorist threats in Nigeria. In another development, Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia dismissed claims of a Christian genocide in his state, saying that there is no religious, ethnic or racial genocide happening. However in April of this year, Governor Alia was heard saying that the federal government must step up in the fight against insurgency and religiously targeted attacks, after 72 people were killed in Holy Thursday and Good Friday attacks. In breaking news, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, accused Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court of bias, which led to commotion and verbal attacks in court. In another story, the National Judicial Institute reacted to viral reports claiming that judges sang the APC song of allegiance, saying the rendition of "On Your Mandate" was played by the Guards Brigade Band as part of their protocol to usher President Tinubu to the podium.
