Brian May Red Special Tremolo System Part 2: Function, Set-up & Demonstration

In this video, which is the second part of my series examining the tremolo (technically vibrato) system in Brian May's Red Special guitar in detail, I demonstrate the installation, set-up and basic function of the system with the help of a test rig. I also compare my DIY components with a professionally made hardware set that is commercially available in the U.K., the relic hardware kit made by RS Mods. Please check out their website: https://rsmods.uk The Burns Rez-O-Tube system operates on a knife-edge bearing pivot system as can be seen in the guitar adjustments guide on the Burns website which I mention in the video in relation to comments on part 1: http://www.burnsguitars.com/BURNS_Cus... Part 1 of this video series covered the design and fabrication of the three main steel components and although it isn't necessary to have watched this first, it does provide useful context if you are not familiar with the basic design of the Red Special tremolo system:    • Brian May Red Special Guitar Tremolo Syste...   If you like the content in this series of two videos on the Red Special tremolo system, you might also enjoy my related content on designing and fabricating the tremolo arm itself, as made by Brian from a bicycle saddle bag holder.    • Brian May Red Special Guitar Tremolo Arm D...   I use the RotoSound British Steels BS9 (0.009-0.042”) string set on my Red Special guitars and in this video.
