AutoCAD Map 3D for Engineers

AutoCAD Map 3D, or as you might know it, the Planning and Analysis workspace inside Civil 3D provides essential GIS functionality within AutoCAD. The purpose of this session is to explore the GIS functions inside Civil 3D through the lens of engineering. During this session with our Design Technology Manager, Donnie Gladfelter, you’ll learn how to leverage AutoCAD Map 3D to query to GIS data, display and analyze GIS data, incorporate GIS data into Civil 3D projects, and more. At the end of this session you’ll poses practical skills to better leverage AutoCAD Map 3D when planning and designing projects as an engineer.
