Unity has power, but true unity isn't simply about being together; it's about walking in the same direction and with the same purpose. In this teaching, Pastor Juangui Ricaurte spoke to us about the difference between a unity built around our own interests and a unity that comes from being aligned with the heart of God. Through the story of Babel, we learned that the problem was never being together, but rather that their motives, their purpose, and their desires weren't focused on the Lord. We were also challenged to reflect on Jesus' prayer, in which He asked the Father that we may be one, just as He and the Father are one. This unity doesn't mean uniformity, but rather walking together with the same feeling, the same passion, and the same purpose: Jesus and His Kingdom. When we set aside ego, offenses, and divisions, and decide to move forward together according to God's will, His presence is manifested, His blessing flows, and the world can see the Father's love reflected through His church. 🤍🙏
