La mejora del tomate Rosa de Barbastro en el programa "Tempero" de Aragón Televisión
Within the framework of the Rural Development Program for Aragon, under the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Environment, the Agri-Food Research and Technology Centre of Aragon (CITA), an agency belonging to the Department of Industry and Innovation, is demonstrating the application of breeding techniques to the selection of the Barbastro Pink Tomato. This technology transfer is being carried out by CITA to the agricultural sector. Dr. Cristina Mallor, a researcher in the Plant Production Technology Unit and head of the Horticultural Species Germplasm Bank at CITA, leads the breeding team carrying out this program, whose objective is to obtain a selected, high-quality seed that meets current market demands.
