LAME ROSSE E LAGO DI FIASTRA - MONTI SIBILLINI - Italy

We set off for the Sibillini Mountains, a place we'd wanted to visit a few years ago—the famous Lame Rosse. We're in the heart of the Marche region, amidst lush mountains, where these rocks, carved by rain and wind, are jealously guarded and displayed in all their splendor. We start from the Fiastra dam, which gives its name to the artificial lake of the same name. We hike for an hour through the heart of these mountains, and the view they offer is truly unique.
