【6】メリー・ポピンズメドレー/ Mary Poppins Medley Composed by Richard and Robert Sherman Arranged by Kazuko Okamoto ディズニー映画『メリー・ポピンズ』より、“Feed the Birds” “A Spoonful of Sugar” “Chim Chim Cher-ee” “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”の4曲をメドレーでお届けいたします。 メリー・ポピンズは、やんちゃな子どもたち、社会運動に奔走する母、そして仕事に追われる父というバラバラになりかけた家族のもとへ、空から風に乗ってやってきます。彼女の不思議な魔法と歌によって家族は心を通わせ、絆、そして日常に潜む小さな幸せを見つけていく心温まる作品です。魔法によって日常がきらめく物語の世界観を、軽やかで心弾むハンドベルの音色にのせてお届けいたします。どうぞ映画の場面を思い浮かべながらお楽しみください。 本コンサートで最後の公演となる3人の部員を含む、学年を超えた有志アンサンブルで演奏いたします。メリーポピンズが気づかせてくれたように、卒部を前に少人数での演奏に試行錯誤する中で、ハンドベルの演奏を心から楽しみ、笑い合い、心を一つにして音楽を作り上げることができる日常の尊さを感じました。これからのBell Peppersも仲間と演奏する喜びを感じ、皆さまに幸せをお届けする存在となれますように。 We will perform a medley of four songs from the Disney film “Mary Poppins”: “Feed the Birds,” “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Chim Chim Cher-ee,” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” In the story, Mary Poppins descends from the sky to a family drifting apart. Naughty children, a mother devoted to social activism, and a father consumed by work. Through her magic and cheerful songs, the family rediscovers their bonds and finds the small joys hidden in everyday life. We hope you enjoy this story, sparkling your daily life with magic through the light and uplifting sounds of handbells. Please enjoy the music while imagining the scenes from the film. This performance is brought to you by an ensemble across grades, including three members who will be graduating from the club with this concert. As Mary Poppins taught us, our journey, figuring out how to perform in a small ensemble, has reminded us of the preciousness of truly enjoying handbells, sharing laughter, and creating music together before graduation.
