Trailpartie #3.23 - Präbichl

The third stop of this year's #trailparty series takes us to the Bike Arena Präbichl in Styria in mid-July. Organized by LINES Magazine and supported by Specialized and Hakuma, the local enduro scene gathered for some fun trail riding in the still young Bike Arena Präbichl. As always, camaraderie was at the forefront of Trailparty, but the cool trails at Präbichl added a fitting backdrop to the event. There are a total of 4 trails available. Unfortunately, there is no lift support at the moment, even though the infrastructure with a series of chairlifts is already in place. So, you'll either have to pedal your way up or take a shuttle to the trailhead. Most folks opt for the shuttle, especially after the second climb because the ascent, particularly in the second half, is no joke. Once you reach the top, you can choose from several trails of increasing difficulty, all with fantastic root-covered forest floors. We shouldn't forget to mention the reservoir of the snowmaking system, which is open for swimming, especially on hot days. Overall, it's a cool location that will surely come into its own once the lifts are operational. With a lift, Präbichl in eastern Austria could become one of the absolute top bike destinations!
