Los míticos voladores de Papantla
Many years ago, a severe drought struck the Totonaca empire, wreaking havoc and decimating the Totonacapan population. To resolve the situation, the council of elders commissioned some chaste young men to find the tallest and straightest tree on the mountain. There would be a ritual ceremony accompanied by music, and a dance above the trunk, in this way, they would be closer to heaven, and they would ask the gods for the precious rains that would restore fertility to the earth. This is how the Papantla flyers arose. Join this channel to access your benefits: / @jorgedeleonmx
