A 7 acre forest was home to at least 50 wild eastern box turtles. Now, that forest is being cleared to make way for 13 luxury homes. Every turtle we can find must be rescued and relocated before its habitat disappears forever. But as bulldozers move in and the forest continues to vanish, some turtles are still out there.
