Yehliu Geopark What to see: Mind-blowing rock formations shaped by thousands of years of erosion. Look for the world-famous Queens Head and the Playful Princess. 2. Shuinandong Refinery Site & Yin and Yang Sea The View: We stopped to see the massive 13-Layer Remains and the Yin and Yang Sea, where the natural minerals create a stunning contrast of blue and yellow water in the bay. 3. Golden Waterfall The Highlight: A stunning side trip to see the golden-tinted rocks caused by heavy metal deposits. It is a unique photo spot you cannot skip. 4. Jiufen Old Street The Vibe: Narrow alleys and glowing red lanterns. It feels like stepping into a movie! What to Eat: You must try the Grandma Lais Taro Balls, the famous Peanut Ice Cream Roll, and the savory A-Lan Hakka Glutinous Rice Cakes. Don’t Miss: Taking a photo at the iconic A-Mei Teahouse stairs. 5. Shifen Waterfall Nature: Often called the Little Niagara of Taiwan. The power of the water here is incredible and the park walk is beautiful. 6.
