2014 Corolla: No Heat Fix - B1441/B1443 HVAC Actuator Diagnosis & Repair

Customer complaint: No heat at all on a 2014 Toyota Corolla during cold mornings. In this video, I walk through a full HVAC diagnostic and repair process, including checking heater core temperature, inspecting the cabin filter, removing the temperature actuator, verifying blend door operation, and calibrating the new actuator using a scan tool. Trouble codes found: • B1441 - Air Mix Damper Control Servomotor Circuit (Passenger Side) B1443 - Air Outlet Damper Control Servomotor Circuit During the inspection, I also found a clogged/dirty cabin air filter and even a plastic glove restricting airflow. After replacing the filter and installing a new HVAC temperature actuator, I performed basic settings and confirmed proper operation. The final thermal check at the vents shows restored heat. parts replaced: 1: cabin filter 1: Hvac temperature blend door actuator If this helps you diagnose your own Corolla HVAC issue, hit that like button and subscribe for more tech tips! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Timestamps: 0:00 - show inside of vehicle 0:20 - Scan for codes 0:41 - Code B1441 information 1:21 - Heater core temperature check (thermal camera) 1:29 - Cabin filter inspection 1:51 - Remove HVAC temp actuator 2:04 - Install new cabin filter 2:21 - Move blend door for new actuator 4:14 - Basic settings / calibration 5:27 - Actuator operation check 6:29 - Final vent heat check (thermal camera) 6:57 - Outro ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: This is for educational purposes.
