Most expensive CRF450RL upgrade yet?! | INSTALLING CUSTOM WHEELS & TIRES ON MY 2022 HONDA CRF450RL

When I decided I was going to use my CRF450RL mostly on dirt, I realized the stock tires really sucked for dirt use, especially in sugar sand where I do most of my riding here in Florida! I NEEDED some grip, but the tires I needed for this (Dunlop Geomax MX12 sand and mud tires) would not be what I wanted to use if I took the bike on the street/road, which is unavoidable with any dual sport. The option was to equip a suitable dual-sport knobby tire, or just go all-in and configure an entire second set of wheels and tires that I can swap back and forth to depending on the scope of my adventure. I chose the even MORE expensive path obviously in building a custom set of wheels in the color scheme I wanted. Sure, I could've bought a used set of L/RL wheels and saved hundreds of dollars, but I NEEDED to have the blue/red/gold color scheme of that mid-80's CR250 Ricky Johnson piloted! So here I am, nearly $1500 into just wheels, tires, and the supporting pieces to install them (tubes, rim strips, rim locks), but absolutely in love with how they look! I'm really going to be crying and more broke when I outfit these wheels with their own brake rotors and sprocket and make this upgrade even more expensive!
