The teenage actors that portrayed the original power rangers are the most popular from the franchise, and the pink ranger, played by Amy Jo Johnson, was one of the biggest breakout stars from the series. Amy grew up on Cape Cod Massachusetts. As a child she competed as a gymnast, learning skills that would later be of great use to her in her breakthrough role as Kimberly Hart the Pink Ranger. The Power Rangers has a strong fan base and even a cult following.
