Luftwaffe Gloster Gladiator Mk.1 ‘Goering's Gladiator’, Corgi 1:72 Diecast Model Review

The Luftwaffe's Gladiators were Mk Is with wooden airscrews. They were used by Erganszungsgruppe (S) 1, a training unit near Hanau, Germany, from 1942–1943. The Gladiators were used for glider towing duties, along with other aircraft such as the Arado Ar65, Heinkel He46, Avia B-534, and Letov S-328. Four of the Gladiators were destroyed or significantly damaged during their service with Erganszungsgruppe (S) 1. The survivors were authorized for deletion from the Luftwaffe inventory in 1943.
