The 2026 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship headed to Portugal for the legendary — and it was a perfect weekend for Manuel Lettenbichler. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider dominated every single day of racing, winning the Endurocode Stage on Friday, the brutal Extreme Penafiel race on Saturday and the main Extreme XL Lagares race on Sunday to take maximum points and move into the championship lead. Sunday’s main event delivered an intense battle at the front, with Mitch Brightmore pushing Mani all the way to the finish. After more than two hours of racing, Lettenbichler crossed the line just 7.9 seconds ahead to complete a clean sweep in Portugal. Teodor Kabakchiev secured third place for Sherco Factory Racing, while Mario Roman finished fourth after another strong ride through the brutal Portuguese terrain. Despite riding injured, Billy Bolt fought through a difficult weekend to complete the top five. James Moore claimed sixth overall and was the top Junior rider ahead of Ashton Brightmore and Wade Young.
