Aziz Konkrite - Kideyra (Official Video)
EN Kideyra means "How is she?" — a simple question, a way of imagining someone you haven't met yet. The track tells the story of a young boy growing up surrounded by music. One day, in his father's garage, he discovers an Otar — the traditional banjo of Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Fascinated by the instrument but forbidden to touch it, he begins saving money to buy one of his own. Little by little, the Otar becomes an obsession. Music turns into a silent dialogue between the musician and his instrument, like waiting for someone destined to arrive. Eventually, he gives her a name: Lella Khadouje, his muse, her soft skin stretched over a wooden frame. Like many musical traditions in rural Morocco, this story reminds us that music is often passed on naturally, through observation, imitation and everyday life. FR Kideyra signifie « comment va-t-elle ? » ou « comment est-elle ? ».
