SURYA.CO.ID, BANGKALAN - A number of products from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bangkalan Regency enlivened the Cheap Market event in Kemayoran Village on Monday (July 6, 2026). A variety of local food and beverage products were presented to the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, as samples for a trade mission. The various food and beverage products from Bangkalan MSMEs that Khofifah bought and distributed free of charge included processed seafood, crackers, herbal drinks, ginger snacks, meatballs (pentol), shrimp paste (shrimp paste), grilled chicken, grilled fish, snake fruit (snake fruit), and various cakes. Khofifah explained that each Cheap Market event always coordinates with the Regency/City Cooperatives, MSMEs, and Trade Offices as an effort to stimulate the MSME sector in each region in East Java. This also plays a role in the selection and evaluation process. "Why do I take samples? Because if these (MSME products) pass the curation process, they can participate in trade missions.
