Last church era before Christ second coming- the parable of Matthew 13 gives the spiritual condition of the church by their reception or rejection of the Word of God. Four types of soil is mentioned but only three condition given cold, hot and lukewarm. Notice that the proportion of the spiritually dead to the spiritually healthy is three to one. There are more spiritually dead people in the church that those that are spiritually healthy.
