3 English Ale Yeasts [Side By Side Comparison!] - Brew Dudes

We compare three English Ale yeasts side by side in a brown ale. This week, we get to our first Yeast comparison test. I've always wanted to put a beer together like this and start comparing different yeasts until I find my favorite one for that recipe. We compare Fermentis S04, Yeast 1187, and WLP007 in an English Style Brown Ale. We both agreed on which was our favorite yeast. We were surprised that the Ringwood strain was as clean as it was despite experience with diacetyl from it usually. This was a fun comparison for us and we definitely learned something. Our next round will put our favorite from this round up against two more English yeasts. John has requested Nottingham. We leave the third yeast to the viewers.
