They Said This Surf Island Was Ruined. I Went Anyway. (First 24 Hours)

I wanted to go surfing and diving on a tropical island. Last year I visited different islands and places in the Philippines and was excited to go back for more! This time I just needed to find a good surfing wave and a base for adventure. The search for kept coming back with the same spot: Cloud 9 on Siargao. But last year on my trip to Cebu, Moalboal, Bohol and Siquijor I kept hearing the same thing from other travelers… avoid Siargao at all costs. It’s too touristy and the place is ruined. Over the years I’ve learned that the best way to find something out is experience it myself. So I went there anywhere to discover how Siargao actually is and make the most of a trip to most popular surf spot in the Philippines. This is my first 24 hours. ➤ ORIJA CLOTHING | www.orija.me ➤ SHOUT ME A COFFEE | https://ko-fi.com/mattguy ➤ INSTAGRAM | @im.mattguy
