VCF SE 9.0 -- Computer Reset - Preserving a Lifetime Collection

Noelle Christine Yingling and Raymond Jett presented the liquidation of computer store Computer Reset at Vintage Computer Festival Southeast on July 16, 2022. Computer Reset was a legendary new and used computer store founded in the mid 1980's in Dallas, Texas . Noelle, Raymond, and a crew of volunteers helped to clear out the warehouse over two years. The main goal of the liquidation was to ensure as much of founder Richard Byron's vintage computer inventory was distributed to hobbyists and historians instead of recycling centers and landfills. We attempt to preserve computing history while providing educational outreach to the community. Vintage Computer Festival Southeast is a annual weekend festival in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. AHCS members display their favorite computers, peripherals, and software from the formative years of the computer revolution.
