The Augustinian community of Barcelona is eagerly anticipating the upcoming visit of Pope Leo XIV to the Church of St. Augustine in the multicultural Raval neighborhood. Father Dennis Pineda, Prior of the Augustinians in Barcelona, emphasized the special significance of the visit, as Leo XIV belongs to the Order of St. Augustine. “It is a great joy for us to be visited by a brother. He is the Holy Father and the successor of Peter, but for us he will always be a brother, and this will always be his home,” he affirmed.
