SARGAALAYA || Art and craft village || Kerala

Hi everyone, I’m Nikhil. Today, I’m going to tell you about an art and craft village located in Iringal, KERALA , called SARGAALAYA . It is a very famous art and craft village here, and they regularly host exhibitions and workshops. When you visit, you’ll see beautiful wooden crafts, metalwork, mural paintings, jewelry, and many other fascinating items. The place is naturally very beautiful, and there are plenty of shops as well. The best part is that you can actually see the items being made right in front of you. For example, you can even try your hand at pottery. During my inquiry, I found out that there are workshops for wooden crafts and painting that you can attend. The items here can be a bit pricey, but once you see the effort and skill of the artists and artisans, you’ll realize that the price is truly worth it. If you visit, make sure you have enough time, because there are a lot of shops to explore. When we visited, it wasn’t too crowded, so we could take our time, but during exhibitions or fairs, it might be busier, and you may not have as much time. There’s also a restaurant here where you can enjoy snacks and meals, and you can check the timings on their website.
