Today’s video is something I’ve wanted to highlight for a long time now. There is a serious lack of understanding of the differences between these two sports, and I think it is important for people to appreciate that gymnastics is more than flips and tricks, but it also includes so many genres that are equally as impressive and require just as much skill. Even some of my friends don’t fully understand the difference between rhythmic and artistic, so I thought this video would be perfect to show to people who still don’t get why I never compete on the bar, vault, or beam.
