Eyam is a small village in the Derbyshire Dales and in the Peak District National Park between Sheffield and Buxton, and close to other tourist attractions and tourism hotspots such as Chatsworth House. Central to the village is Eyam Church and Eyam Hall and you can visit both and have a walk around both or either of them when you come. Although the plague is what the village is most noted for it's important to say that Eyam is a beautiful English village in it's own right so don't come and expect it all to be about the bubonic plague or the deaths here, although you can't help but think about it as you wander around and read the history of the village on the green plaques.
