The “In Between” Pocket Tool Pouch for Real Jobs

I’ve been thinking about tool kits in tiers: the tools you carry every day, the larger pouch you keep at home, and the full workshop setup for bigger jobs. But is there room for something in between? In this video I put together a compact “tier 1.5” tool pouch, small enough to throw in a pocket or bag, but much more capable than my normal on-body EDC. It is designed for small household jobs, helping friends or family, and those situations where you do not want to bring a full tool bag but still want more than a tiny multitool. The pouch is based around the Alpaka Hub Pouch Pro and includes Knipex Cobra 125 pliers, a Wera mini ratchet setup, Wera 813 bit holder, Gerber Shard, Jonard electrician scissors, a small ruler and square, pencil, Sharpie, duct tape, cord, and a few other useful bits. This is an experiment, but I think it might be a really useful middle ground between pocket EDC and a proper home tool kit.
