CORSA 1.4: UPGRADE DE FREIO DIANTEIRO SEM ADAPTAÇÕES!

In this video, I explain and show the process of replacing the front brake system on a Corsa Montana. The brake kit used was from a Meriva 1.8 16V, which uses the same caliper, discs, and pads as the 2011 Vectra C and Astra G with 280mm discs. The only difference is the brake caliper/support of this assembly, resulting in 100% compatibility with the Corsa C, since the axle shaft of these cars—Corsa C, Meriva (all models), and first-generation Montana—is exactly the same. Where do I buy it? A: Nowadays, the best place is at junkyards! The Meriva 1.8 16V is a very rare car in Brazil, it was only manufactured from 2003 to 2005 and was the top-of-the-line version with the CD and Sport designations. With that, you can already understand the difficulty in finding the kit that is compatible with the Corsa C, right!? In other words* The kit is very easy to find in relation to the calipers, discs, pads, what's really difficult is finding the bracket/support, since the only compatible one is from the Meriva 1.8 16V. NOTE: IF YOUR CORSA IS A 1.0 OR 1.4, THE FRONT BRAKE UPGRADE FROM THE MERIVA 8V, WHETHER IT'S A 1.4 OR 1.8, WILL ALREADY GIVE AN INCREDIBLY GOOD RESULT! THE CALIPERS ARE EVEN MUCH SUPERIOR TO THE TRW VARGA, WITH 260MM DISCS, AND ARE 100% COMPATIBLE (PLUG-IN-PLAY) WITH THE CORSA C.
