Who knew rain could make Shanghai look even prettier? I got my phone wet multiple times doing certain angles but some shots came out so comfy, it was so worth getting a little drenched for! Loved letting the natural soundscape do its thing so I removed/reduced BGM for certain sections. Funnily enough, everyone goes to Xintiandi, which is just across where we went. Sometimes finding the quiet hidden spots just takes a little more exploring. Also discovered that a luxury mall like the Lafayette is just a normal neighbourhood mall to Joshua, since it's in close proximity to his house.
