I Lost 64lbs (28kg) — Here’s Exactly How I Did It (No Extremes)

I lost 64lbs (28kg) in a way that felt sustainable and realistic for me. In this video, I share both the practical side of how I did it (calorie deficit, recipe rotation, protein, strength training, exercise, tracking progress, identity etc.) and the mindset shifts that made it stick long term. This includes: how I approached fat loss without extremes the habits that actually made a difference focusing on health not aesthetics (no thanks skinnytok💅) how changing my identity and self-talk changed everything I also talk about some more difficult parts of my life that contributed to my weight gain (including depression, pregnancy loss, and chronic illness that left me housebound and bedbound), so please take care while watching if those topics are sensitive for you 🤍 Side Note: I am still chronically ill (though currently much less severely), and there was a time I was housebound and all I wanted to be able to move my body again, so a big part of this journey has been shifting my mindset to gratitude for what my body can do. If you’re looking for sustainable weight loss tips, realistic fat loss, or a healthier approach to weight loss without extremes, I hope this might help or encourage you. 🔗BMI Calculator: https://www.nhs.uk/health-assessment-... (please know that this is just one measurement of health and it's not accurate for everyone since it does not take into account muscle and fat percentages; it's merely a rough guide.) 🔗BMR Calculator: https://www.calculator.net/bmr-calcul... (this will calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate i.e. the calories you burn if you lie down all day, doing nothing but breathing and existing. Your body needs this amount of calories just to function, so it's advisable never to eat less calories than this even while trying to lose fat. Doing so could wreak havoc on your hormones and metabolism!) Disclaimer: I am not a health, fitness, diet or medical expert. I'm not really an expert in anything, honestly.
