The Emax was the little brother of the EMULATOR II, 12-bit sampling, 42 kHz sample rate, analog filters SSM2047, awesome sound quality. The next generation the Emax II has unfortunately digital filters and the sound is different to the Emax. Used a lot by Depeche Mode (Music for the Masses Tour, 101), Nine Inch Nails and more.
