Now, I decided to use a normal NiMh, without strips, from China. Maybe the first kind of battery is more secure, to avoid to overheat the battery during the welding. Please, notice that original battery is shorten than the new one, you will have to cut some small plastics on the battery socket to allow the installation of the new (and longer) battery, it is too easy. At the moment, a full charge of the new chinese battery last 7 days, working 3 times a day. The dissadvantage of the new battery is the charging time, almost a full day. En la primera resurrección, utilicé una batería con dos lengüetas ya soldadas a los polos. Esta vez, utilicé una batería NiMh de otro proyecto, comprada directamente a China. La batería con lengüetas permite minimizar el calentamiento de la batería al no soldar sobre los polos. Es importante saber que la batería original es más corta, pero la nueva entra simplemente cortando con un cúter o similar unos tirantes de plastico que tiene el portapilas, es muy fácil. Por el momento, una carga completa de la nueva batería me dura 7 días, con 3 usos diarios. Como desventaja, la nueva batería tarda casi un día en cargarse.
