How To Make VERTICAL VIDEOS in iMovie - the RIGHT WAY!

For true 1080 x 1920 vertical HD (best for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok), export using the "App Preview" setting. This gives you the highest quality vertical video from iMovie. I show you how to create and edit vertical video NATIVELY in iMovie using a hidden feature of the software. Using this feature, you can not only edit vertical video natively in iMovie, you can also import and convert landscape video into vertical video and edit that!
