Jak człowiek stworzył psa? | Nasi przodkowie #21

Between 30,000 and 15,000 years ago, the fate of two animals changed forever – humans domesticated the wolf and created the dog. Before this could happen, both wolves and humans had to travel a long path, which in both cases included the colonization of new continents. Today we know that the wolf was the first domesticated animal and the only one to be domesticated by hunter-gatherers – all subsequent domestications were the work of people leading an agricultural or pastoral lifestyle. How might the domestication of the wolf have proceeded? In what area did it occur? Did wolf domestication occur only once in history, and did all modern dogs descend from a single wolf population? Welcome to the next episode of the "Our Ancestors" series, in which we will search for traces of the first dogs and consider whether this initial domestication changed the fate of wolves or humans more.
