Experiencing side effects to my cancer treatment (Lanreotide Injections)

It's been a week since I started my cancer treatment for neuroendocrine cancer. I have a primary neuroendocrine tumour of the small intestine which has spread to my liver. The treatment I received a week ago was a Lanreotide injection. Something I'll be getting every 28 days. This is a somatastatin analogue which stops/slows the release of hormones from my tumours. That release of hormones causes a condition known as carcinoid syndrome. This is something I have struggled with and for me involves lots of hot red flushes mainly of the face and chest. Since starting the Lanreotide injections I have experienced some side effects. In this video I will share that experience in the hope it might help some others in the future. My first week on Lanreotide injections hasn't been that pleasant but things are improving and it's definitely been manageable! I expect thing to continue to improve.
