Hurricane “Tony Ellin” was taken from the pro pool scene much too young, back in 2000. Not many of todays pool fans have had the chance to see Ellin in top form. This is a rare chance to see the powerful break that Ellin was especially known for. Here, he faced “The Pearl” Earl Strickland in the finals of the 1993 US Open 9-Ball Championship. Strickland had already won this event twice in his career, and was looking for career win number three. This was a race to eleven, Texas express rules.
