Center Parcs - Whinfell Winter Wonderland 2022 on a budget

I've wanted to go to go to Center Parcs for years, I've always thought it's somewhere for families so I planned a trip for when our son would be a toddler. I now know it isn't a place just for kids just as I've also learnt it isn't a place you need to spend loads of money. I hear so many people going and booking multiple activities per day (and when I saw the activity prices 😳) but it's such a beautiful place I really don't think it's necessary, especially as our son and probably most toddlers are happy enough picking up leaves and splashing in puddles. We booked the first week of Winter Wonderland, this was much cheaper than going in the school holidays and we intend to make the most of been able to go a different times before our little boy starts school. Originally we were going to go the week before, until I discovered when WW starts. The prices were pretty much the same (maybe £20 different) so I definitely recommend goi g for WW, they have so many more free activities, including just seeing the lights, which you can take part in.
